Under 'Vetri Veedu Thittam,' an enhanced grant of Rs.5 lakh from Rs.3.10 akh per house will be provided to Kutcha hut familiesand 70,000 houses to be sanctioned in the first year, at a cost of Rs.3,500 crore.
