Cauvery-Vaigai-Gundar River Linking Project

What the Budget said

The Cauvery-Vaigai-Gundar River Linking Project has commenced with an allocation of Rs.150 crore and Detailed Project Reports for the Pennaiyar-Cheyyar, Pennaiyar-Palar and Tamirabarani-Vaippar links are allocated Rs.50 crore taking the total river linking allocation to Rs.200 crore.
